Why haven’t I heard of you?
We’re new: Rugonic opened in 2026. You get what you’d get from any good shop: a company you can look up, 14 days to change your mind, and a damaged or faulty rug replaced free.
Where are the rugs made?
In Türkiye, and they ship from there.
Choosing a rug
What sizes are there?
Seven, all in the same 2:3 proportion as the designs, so every size carries the whole design. Actual sizes can differ by up to ±2%.

Which size do I need?
Start from the table: it says where each size usually goes. Each rug’s page then shows it at its true size on a floor and on a wall.
What is it made of?
A 130 g/m² face fabric on 4–5 mm foam, with a 700 g cotton backing.

Is it the same design in every size?
Yes. Every size keeps the design’s 2:3 proportion, so each one carries the whole design, border and all.
Do I need a pad?
It has a 700 g cotton backing; on smooth hard floors a rug pad helps keep it in place.

Is it good with pets and kids?
It goes in the washing machine, so muddy paws, crumbs and spills come out in the wash. Underneath: 4–5 mm foam and a 700 g cotton backing.

How close is the actual size?
Actual sizes can differ by up to ±2%. Each rug’s page gives its actual size: in feet and inches when it ships to the US, in centimeters everywhere else.
What’s the easiest way to try a design?
The smallest size, the one for a door: the design you like, in your own room.
Can I get a size that isn’t listed?
Not on the site. For a project with its own sizes, write to us. Trade
Ordering and paying
How do I order?
Choose a rug, its size and its type on the rug’s page, and add it to your bag. We email you a confirmation straight away, and the tracking link when your rug ships.
How can I pay?
Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, or crypto where checkout offers it for your country.
Can I change or cancel an order?
Write to hello@rugonic.com as soon as you can. We start on your rug soon after you order, so we can’t always change it, but you can still send it back within 14 days of delivery.
Is it safe to pay here?
Yes. Checkout is encrypted, and card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments go through Stripe: your card number goes to Stripe, never to us.
Do I need an account?
No. You check out with your email address, and we send the confirmation and the tracking link there.
Which currency do I pay in?
US dollars, in the US and the EU.
Is sales tax added in the US?
No sales tax added. Free shipping: nothing to pay at the door.
Can I send it as a gift?
Yes. At checkout, choose Ship to a different address and give theirs.
Do you work with designers, shops and hotels?
Yes. Tell us the rooms, the sizes and how many of each, and we’ll write back with what we can do. Trade
Do you work with creators?
Yes. Fill in the label on the Creators page: if it’s a yes, a rug comes to you, with a code for your audience. Creators
Delivery
When does it ship?
Ships in 2 business days. We email you the tracking link as soon as it leaves.
When does it arrive?
In the US, 3–5 business days after it ships. In the EU and Türkiye it varies by country, and the tracking link shows where your rug is.
What does shipping cost?
Free to the US, every EU country and Türkiye. We ship to the United States, the 27 countries of the European Union and Türkiye, and nowhere else yet. More: Shipping and delivery.
Is there anything to pay at the door?

- Free shipping by DHL Express: nothing to pay at the door. Prices include 10% KDV.
- EU
- Your country may charge import VAT and a carrier’s fee on delivery. You pay these.
Will I get a tracking link?
Yes. We email it to you as soon as your rug ships.
Do you ship to my country?
We ship to the US, the 27 countries of the European Union and Türkiye, free to all of them. If yours isn’t one of them yet, write to hello@rugonic.com and we’ll tell you when it is. Shipping and delivery
What if my parcel is lost?
Tell us within 14 days of the expected delivery at hello@rugonic.com. We send a new rug or refund you, at our cost.
Can I change the delivery address?
Write to hello@rugonic.com as soon as you can, and we’ll do our best to redirect it.
Care
Can I wash it?
Machine wash at 30 °C on a gentle/delicate cycle; hand washing is also fine. Hang or lay flat to dry.
Largest sizes: use a laundromat machine or spot clean.
How do I look after it?
- Vacuum it weekly on a low setting, without the beater bar, or take it outside and shake it.
- Blot spills straight away with a damp cloth. Don’t rub.
- Machine wash it at 30 °C (86 °F) on a gentle/delicate cycle (hand washing is also fine). Wash it on its own, design side out, with a mild detergent. No bleach, no fabric softener.
- Hang it or lay it flat to dry, out of strong sun and away from heat. No tumble dryer, no iron, no dry cleaning.
- Turn it around every few months so it wears evenly, and keep it out of strong sun to keep the colors bright.
- On smooth hard floors a rug pad helps keep the 700 g cotton backing in place.
Can I wash the two largest sizes?
Largest sizes: use a laundromat machine or spot clean. Smaller sizes go in a home machine.
Can it go in the dryer?
No. Hang it or lay it flat to dry, out of strong sun and away from heat.
How do I keep the colors bright?
Keep it out of strong sun, and turn it around every few months so it wears evenly.
Returns
Can I send it back?
Changed your mind? 14 days to send it back; return postage is yours. Damaged or faulty: we replace it free. How: Returns and refunds.
What if it arrives damaged?
Email hello@rugonic.com within 14 days of delivery, with photos of the rug and of the parcel. We replace it free, or refund you if you prefer.
When do I get my money back?
Within 14 days of telling us, to the way you paid. We may wait until the rug is on its way back to us.
What does a return cost?
Changed your mind? 14 days to send it back; return postage is yours. Damaged or faulty: we replace it free.
Can I swap it for another size?
Send it back within 14 days of delivery and order the one you want. Return postage is yours.
