Two scrapes of grey across the dark.

A wide dry brush drags cool grey across a deep aubergine field, top left to bottom right, then comes back once from the bottom corner. A streak of mint rides along the first scrape and a single fuchsia splash lands where it runs out. The rest is dark and quiet. The brush marks are part of the design, not paint on top.

The dark field is forgiving in a busy room and good with grey, black or fuchsia furniture. At 6′×9′180 × 270 cm it holds a whole seating area together.
