In the Guest Series the fields are the old ones: Tabriz and Isfahan medallions, a garden under arches, a plaid, a folk floral. Then one guest walks in and stays: a retriever in sunglasses, two cats staring each other down, a pink leopard in polka dots. The Word Series writes one word across a classic; the Overdyed Series dyes one over. The Graphic Series draws its own: a sun on saffron, an imaginary sea. Every one is made to order.
